Default tips for purchasing snap-on tools?

http://www.snap-on.com/
from the website, i see how to order from snap-on directly, but are there any outside retailers who offer different pricing? i'm just wondering if i must order direct or if i should look to local dealers for discounting, service, demo, etc.

Sometimes you can find some great deals on ebay.

If you feel like buying used tools, go to Ebay or a pawn shop.
You'd be surprised how many techs pawn in expensive tools.

Or just find your local Snap-On truck. Pricing is the same everywhere.

if u buy from the snap on trucks, make sure you buy them outright. Dont do the payment thing, those snap on guys will be up your *** like Nell Carter wearing a thong.

I either buy from ebay or pawn. But if you can't find the tool you want, it's usually better on the truck than on the site.

If you offer cash money the guys selling out of the trucks will usually give a small discount.

I've never seen one either. I'm invisioning a guy in an icecream truck with the big window that opens up on the side and posters of all the tools he has inside with prices next to them. He goes from service shop to service shop with his bell ringing and all the mechanics come rushing out to the truck yelling and screaming.

Save your money and get craftsman.

craftsman wrenches don't seem to be durable, too many people keep having to get their's replaced.
there are no less than 3 tq100a models on ebay currently; i put in a bid for one of them. there are more than 10 of the snap on clicker-style torque wrenches on ebay.

Snap-On is waaaay better than Craftsman! Now, whether they warrant the price difference is up to you.

I'd order what I absolutely needed, and check pawn shops etc for deals on others.

Jety-who's cool father in law gave him a NICE set of Snap-On screwdrivers for Xmas.
