I just got a 97 zc d15b non v tech. Im putting it in my 99 civic. I blew the motor D16Y8 v tech. They should both be OBD2 But the whirring harness from the civic wont clip in the ecu from the zc. I know the zc is OBD2 because it clips right in my brothers 96 integ. Is the civic a diff. OBD or what.Could i just get the OBD2 harness and would that work(from like a 96 integ).Or do i have the wrong ecu for the zc.

also the distributor on the zc was damaged.In the shipping .but i cant get parts for it here in US so i put the distr, from the civic motor would it work even though it has diff, amount of wires.

Also the idle control motor on the zc has three wires and the civic harness only has two> i understand that the non v techs and the v tech-e's have the three wire set up where do i hook the extra wire to or could i just change the throttle body from the civic what should i do.
