Default Fuel burn rates

We are working on an open class endurance project and we would like to get some data on fuel burn rates (minutes per gallon). Specifically from the fully prepped racers that are seeing 200+whp. Please include displacement, approx whp, and basic engine configuration/type.

Thanks,

Rick

Honda Challenge H2 Integra R, 1.8 liter B18C5, stock internals with Toda header, AEM intake tube and K&N filter, Apexi VAFC tuned slightly leaner at high RPMs. Approx 210 HP at crank, 185 hp @ wheels. Burns about 10 gallons in 70 minutes. (1 gallon in 7 minutes).

We've run 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, and 2.3 engines with 200-215 at the wheels. If you're not running high compression and don't mind running pretty lean, you can get down into the 7 gallons per hour range with a near-stock B16A.

The configuration we were running at the 13hr (B18 block w/B16 pistons & head, Skunk Stage 1 cams, ported head, SMS header, 2.5" exhaust w/two Dynomax flow-through mufflers), we were burning about 9 gallons in 1hr 7min.

Wow, I am surprised. We barely get 7 min/gal in our ITA CRX. I had been guessing it would be closer to 5.5-6 min/gal.

Thanks. Anyone else?

Rick

1 gallon in 5.5 minutes. 295 WHP turbo B18C5 (stock motor).

Data point at Road America, 4.5 gallons in 25 minutes. A/F ratio was between 11.0-11.5:1. About 70 degrees ambient temperature. Some time was spent coasting behind slow M3's and 911's.

approximately 1 gallon in 8 minutes when road racing for my 200whp/192 torque turbo B18B @ 7 psi... 12.5:1 AFR, small T3 turbo (no lag; road racing build), and 2.25" cat-back exhaust.
