Default Replacing B16 syncro?

Hey looking at a B16 cable tranny what is involved with a sychro replacement? would you recommned a shop to do this? where would I get the parts? are they the same from a b16 hydro tranny? I searched under "synchro replacement" but jsut people asking where to do it. Not much on where to buy the parts.

I saw this under slhondaparts.com

yea i would have a shop do it so you have someone to blame other than yourself when something goes wrong...i think 7 and 8 are the syncro assemblies, so you have to take all the gears off the shafts. have you ever replaced anything inside a tranny before? if so shoudn't be that hard with a manual.

No. You need special syncros. Talk to Gearspeed, a sponsor of HT.
