B-series crx axle question..
I searched and looked at tons of posts that say many different things about what axles to use so I figured I would just ask for a straight answer..
I have an 89' crx dx with a 2nd gen jdm B16A motor.. Im using a 92-93 jdm Integra xsi ys1 b16 cable tranny on it.. What axles and intermediate shaft do I need? I dont have any axles or intermediate shafts yet..

Yes, thats 100% correct! I am running the exact same set up in one of my cars, works great. Your setup should have come with the intermediate shaft though.

Why should it have came with an intermediate shaft? I bought the tranny from a friend and the motor from another friend..

Ok, well the 92-93 Integra's came with 2nd gen B16a's and the Ys1 tranny to begine with. I thought you got the whole engine pkg minus an intermediate shaft. Every B16 pkg i've brought in for the past 7 years has included that part.

90-93 teg axles and int shaft abs or non-abs doesnt matter
the ring for the speed sensor sits nowhere near the hub so it wont grind like everyone thinks, peoples axles/hubs grind because they dont take off the dust shield

you can use the 94 and up axles ( see my post ) but you need the intermediate shaft from the same year and the joint seal from the 94 if your tranny is a 90-93 and the seal of the 93 if your tranny is the 94
Exemple : axles 94 + intermédiate shaft 94 + seal 94 ( tranny 93 )

Understood.. I see you have a ys1 cable in your crx with boost.. Hows the tranny gearing work out with the boost..

ALSO, the intermediate shaft MUST come from a 5 spd. The axles don't matter tho. I also believe you can use 92-93 axles as long as they are the NON-ABS units.

Just to get this straight.. I need a intermediate shaft from a 5-speed 90-93 integra and axles from a 90-93 non-abs intergra????
