I have a 1990 Civic HB. I am going to be doing a motor swap in the car. I want to do a Integra XSI B16 in the car. But i was woundering if the Axles in a integra will fit the car. I am doing the B16 motor with a YS1 trans. I just want to make sure that they will fit??
And do you guys think it would just be easier and better to just go with a SIR I B16?? and i wanted to know why the XSI has 10 more HP then the SIR. Is the bacis design of the motor the same?? what im trying to get at is when i build the motor does it matter which on i go with??
yes the axels will fit as long as u take the little ring aroung the backk side of the hub out,ur gonna need the intermed.shaft.the b16 intrega xsi 1st gen has 160 and i thoght the 2nd gen had a10hp diff sir2?maybe im wrong

well i was gona do a 2nd gen XSI motor which is 170hp. But then i would have to convert the car to OBD1. but i was thinking about just going with the SIR gen1 and keeping it OBD0 then later probably change it to OBD1. but what i am really interesed to know is. Is there a difference in the two motors??? is one better then the other if you are going to build them.. I don't think that there is, but i just want to make sure by someone who knows more then me.
