Axles differences
I've been looking but, haven't found the proper info, yet. I am going to swap a b17a from a 92 Integra GS-R that I have into a 91 Civic Std. I have found you need to remove the dust shields off the axles but, the outboard spline is bigger than that of my std hb axles. I was looking into maybe using the hub assemblies from a 91 DX hb are these the same dia as my GSR axles. I have seen the that the part numbers from DX and Si say right side axles are the same I thought I remember seeing that Si hub assemblies have the right spline for the GSR axles do the DX ones as well? All help appreciated very much. Build an SM autocross car. Already swapped the discs from GSR in back. Have heard can't use the GSR assemblies due to the steering knuckle being to high. Wouldn't mind running 13 in rims on the autox car so smallish front brakes instead of 14's might hold up???
