i just got new rebuilt axles from honda and the car shakes like crazy cant go past 20mph cus it shakes really bad almost like a warpped rotor thats how bad it is any asumptions as to what is the problem?

 

Do you have an LSD transmission? If your alignment is off, and you do, it can cause this. Otherwise, do you have the right size? They fit correctly? Etc...

 

a bad alignment won't cause a shake. If Camber/Caster is off it'll pull to one side, If toe is off you'll get uneven tire wear but no pull. None of which will cause a vibration or shaking.

Make sure the axle is seated correctly.

 

Are you 100% sure that you installed the half-shafts on the correct side?

If you were to install them incorrectly, this could be your problem.

 

i dont have an lsd and i know it has nothing to do with my alignment or tires because just prior to installing the axles it was perfectly fine and the axles are seated and positioned corectly im stumpted i dont know what it is

 

most likely mis install of the given shafts.

 

Run through the process in your head again.

Make sure that bot half-shafts were installed in the transmission correctly. Did you make sure that all necessary hardware has been installed and torqued. Did you install cotter keys? Did you torque the axle nut?
