2004 Supplier Awards
'tis the season to be thankful (oh wait, that was last month) and jolly and all, so I want to thank some suppliers that have made it possible for me to build the car this year (I know, it's only 95% done, but it will start by the "due date" of 1/3/2005!)
- Pegasus: they have stuff in stock, it ships the same day. I like them.
- Lee Grimes at Koni NA. Great prices, always ready with advice and help.
- Cobalt Friction: Andie is knowledgeable and helpful. Their customer service and prices kicks much booty. Oh yeah, their brake pads are pretty good, too.
- Majestic Auto Parts: less than half of what the local dealership charges for OEM honda parts. What more could you want?
- SBMS: Tom Blaney always (still) responsive to my emails about the stuff I bought from him a year ago.
I can't wait to hear that engine run.
- Delta Group: Walt Puckett, good guy to deal with, and makes a nice looking cage and header.
- Lightning Motorsports: I have only bought a couple of things from them, but they had great prices and were extremely helpful over the phone.
- eBay: can't beat ebay.
- OPM Motorsports: they know what makes a civic/crx go fast.
And on a personal note, I want to thank RJ and Littleton for coming out to my house, braving the monster dog and kids to help drop the engine in. And uncle catch for volunteering some time ago to crew for me at a SCCA school.
H-T is a very helpful and valuable tool for any club racer, especially the noobs like me. Without the folks here and their knowledge, I'd be a hell of a lot richer!

Been doing more selling than buying this year, and the few buying experiences haven't been great. Here's a few from the past though.
motodepot.com - motorcycle shop with good prices on Motul products, very good communication and quick shipping.
tirerack.com - always looking for an excuse to send them money - top notch.
ltbmotorsports.com - wish he sold more stuff I need
Summit Racing / Jegs - If I need something quick, this is always the first places I try to find it. I've never been disappointed with either of them, unlike many of the "import" companies who can't seem to get anything right.
