Default is it ok to run...

is it ok to run mobil 1 10w30 even though it saids the car needs 5w30? i was going to go boost today so i switched oils but some parts havent came in yet

yes, I don't think it would do any harm at all, unless you live in really cold area, like -10F.

Well i live in MN and it gets pretty cold here....my accord recommends 5w30 but ever since i have started driving i have always done 10w30? not sure why i have but its just what i use? hasnt hurt anything yet...?

it's not gonna make a whole lot of difference. in fact i been using thicker oil for my car(10w30 syn. oil instead of 5w20)

you'll see a very very very small drop in gas mileage(5miles or so) but hell, you couldn't notice if someone didn't told you so.
