88CRX SI motor into a 94 Civic DX how?

Default 88CRX SI motor into a 94 Civic CX how?

What do i need to do in order to put an 88 CRX SI motor in my 94 Civic CX? I have the CRX Motor out, and I am waiting on info before I pull out the motor in my 94 DX. Please help!!!

are you buying the 88 si motor?? if you are how much? just curious. its not worth it. if your getting it for free.....give it a try.

If I'm not mistaken, does'nt the 94 DX engine have just as much HP as the CRX Si engine?

My DX motor is ****, and i got the CRX motor for free. So how do I do it? Any help is appreciated.

To answer your question.
The CRX engine will drop right in.
However, you can only use the head and block.
you must use the Civic's complete intake manifold.
you must also transfer the Civic's timing belt side engine mount to the CRX engine.
then you need to use the Civic's transmission and all other accessories.
I did the same backwards, I put a 95 Civic CX engine in a 90 CRX.

here's what you should keep in mind. you would do anything to keep your car back on the street. just like what BLOWN90HATCH said a few days ago. "DONT BE A SELLOUT". hope you get the point
