Default ZC mounts the same as B-Series?

Yeah...stupid question, but I've never thought about this. I'm getting a CRX with a ZC in it for $1400, but I'm going to buy a B16 swap for it and I'm about to pick up a B17 block to put in place of the B16. The problem I ran into while rolling things around in my head was are the ZC motor mounts the same as the B-series mounts? I'd imagine they would be with both being dual overhead cam honda motors, but just wanting to make sure. Thanks.

No they are not the same, the ZC is a direct drop in motor and the B16 needs a mount kit.
BTW the B17 block is the same as the B16 block aside from the crank so to save money you could find just a crank from a B17 and put it in the B16.

i think it would be kinda hard to find a b17 crank, and it wont be cheap either..

thats 200 more then the price of a b16, then the pricing of new bearings and the time wasted installing the new crank, that would make it more then a b17 longblock ...

but to each his own...

Thanks for the info. I'm just going to get the complete B16 swap so I can get everything I need all together rather than finding each individual component of the swap. Makes it a lot easier on me. Also need to get the b17 sleeved, headwork, pistons, and rods before it goes in. I'm also picking up my B17 this weekend for $300 for complete shortblock...still going to rebuild it...it's jsut the way I like to do things. As long as everythings apart might as well. Paint the car at the same time too. Thanks for all the info.
