Default 76" eb civic

hey guys i know its not ef but its the closest place

im after more performance nearly everything has been doen to the eb 1200cc engine pair of dellorotto 35"s, redline air filters, massive grind on the cam, balanced internals, 4-2-1 extractors-straight through exhaust, city turbo gearbox 5spd,accord brake booster, over sized rear brake shoes, upgraded front pads, new clutch and flywheel,ef crx si seats, retrimed interior (black) momo steering wheel,tacho-shift lights, sony head deck, 350wat 6x9,800w pioneer sub,v12 amp, sony 5' fronts.

thats pretty much all thats been done so far, getting springs, and 16" superlight mags(it has 12's now so will look HUGE!)

im considering adding custom airbox and maybe if it can handle it a small shot of nitrous

so far its done a 17.3 wheel spinning furiously -mainly cause the track staff wouldnt let me run my avon slicks. goal is a mid to high 16 pass
then i might use the honda city turbo engine,i've got some big plans for

the b series has been done a couple of times but you have cut most of the engine bay out-the best engine to put in is from the honda city turbo, im going to build one after i do a 16 sec pass.

did you every get them in america or was it a jdm thing?

ran a 15.9 on avon slicks actually... 20x7x13's

i forget my MPH and can't find my slip but i'm gonna keep digging through the boxes i have with stuff from when i had this piece and see if i can find it.

only took it down rockingham 3 times but it was consistant 16 flat's... 15.9 was my best.

that civic looks like a beast, what did you do to the engine to get those great times?

not a cvcc.... a 1200....

i can't take credit for it...i bought it like that, minus the seat and some little stuff.... $300

the motor had an insane cam, dual webber side drafts, custom 4-1 header that cost me like $600 after i broke the jackson racing (yes, jackson racing) that WAS on it, dunno what kind of pistons but anything less than a 100/93 mix caused detonation like crazy, msd ignition and coil... ditched the stock troublesome points system.... ummmmm, shoot, i don't even remember... it's been so long. the tranny was TIGHT.... i remember that much. and i remember getting a whole 7 or 8 mpg around the city.

the previous owner built it, raced it scca and had just started doing road course stuff when he finished building that motor. it was built as much as he could build it supposedly... revved to 12k on a normal basis with no problems whatsoever. he said it was balanced to 13k but the cam wouldn't make power past 11k. it only weighed about 1200 pounds.

i had avon slicks on it when i went to rockingham... actually drove there on them... 4 of them... i'm an idiot.

used a plate nitrous kit and sprayed a 35 shot on it. i was going to spray a 5o or 55 just for the hell of it but i had no trailer for when the motor let loose to get her home with.

-Erik <--- had a lot of fun in that car... it's probably crushed right now
