ok this is the question my car wont start 89 civ hatch d15 just a click from main relay and nothin my girls car does the same thing but hers is a toy gts but can it b the main relay o yeah when i hit the ingition fast it wants to start then finally does after a ouple of min i changed the bat and still does it ne suggestions would b great

ok i try to start the car and it cllicks nothing happens but i try couple of more times then it starts right up. I bought a brandnew battery and still does it. it just clicks at the main relay and the starter. I dont know whats goin on.

Sound's like your starter is bad..

 

Yes I would have to say that is is your starter as well. You said your girls cars does the same thing on toyotas when they just go (click click click). That means your starter is going bad. Worked at a Toyota/Honda Specialist shop and thats what wouls happen when the starters go bad.
