my car will shake along with the steering wheel whenever i brake, however when i put it in neutral and brake it doesnt do it, so thats why i am thinking it may be something besides the rotors, but i could be wrong.. any help tia

 

do a little bit more experimentation: stopping with the ebrake and see if it does it and make sure it doesnt vibrate when you are in neutral becaues that is very odd. 99.9% of the time its the brakes or tires/alignment that will cause a shimmy like that.

 

could be lots of things...tie rods, wheel bearings, something loose, alignment, bushings, something bent...
