what kind of budget considerations do you have and what are your expectations
on power/speed/usage etc... is this a one time shot build or is it something you want to step into gradually, what is your timeline? welcome to HT

Budget isnt a problem this will be a timely build up. I would like it to be completed by the summer but I want everything done right the first time so if it takes long I wont mind.

Speed isnt really a factor I wont be seeing to much speed unless I am at the track.

I want the most HP I can get but I would like it to be able drive on the street when needed. (goin to track ect)
Car will only be driven in summer and spring. Put away for the winter months.
What do you think of the set-up so far and what do you think HP numbers might be?

200whp+ hopefully.

Thanxs for the reply

Sounds like a decent motor very possible to get 200 HP out of it all depends on tuning. There are alot of people on the east coast that can tune very well. But make sure you keep your ITR tranny I think thats what you meant by I have a 2000 and it's really short. I had both a ITR and a GSR and the only reason that I used the GSR is because I imploded my ITR tranny after way to many track appearances. The GSR tranny was a peice of sh*t way to long of gears lost me almost 1/2 a second 1/4 mile............................But should be able to pull 200 whp pretty easily out of that, Good luck let us all know.............

woah. if my DC2 is running 14.6 with the GSR tranny and OBD2aECU I bet the gains with gearing my car will be substantial in accleration ive thought of this, maybe this year I will be able to get into my tranny

GSR tranny with: 4.7 and ITR diff
3.077 ATS first
1.90 GSR second
1.458 ITR third
1.104 ITR fourth (spun to 8800ish)
0.787 GSR fifth

sorry its a bit off topic, but it excites me even more to think about gearing my ride...
