I was wondering what differences there are between these two blocks other then the fact that the B18C1 block is physically 8mm taller then B16 block. Other then that is there ne other differences between the blocks?

 

B18C has a block girdle, B16A does not.. thats pretty much it, besides being taller

 

u mean the difference between a B18c1 and a B16a is the tallness thus giving in a bigger stroke that makes it a 1.8. its not the bigger bore thats the difference? i thought b18c1's had 81mm bore, and b16's had sumthin smaller maybe 77mm..... let me know if thats true guys

 

another difference is that b18c1 has oil squirters to lubricate underneath the pistons, by the cylander wall. also what about the lenghs in the rods? and the stroke of the crank? im pretty sure the b16 & b18c1 have different cranks. holla bak y'all

 

b16's also have 81mm bore... the 77mm i beleive is the stroke...
