Default No Brake Feel At All. Pedal Hits the floor. Whats wrong?

Got in my car yesturday morning. Brakes feel like they're gone. Pedal goes all the way down and there is no pressure. It takes extremely long for the car to stop. I have brake fluid. I dont know whats wrong. I need my car asap and wonder if i should try to fix this myself or bring it to a shop.

This is happening now after the ebrake light has been on for a little over a month. Which first started about 2 months ago. I'd go around a turn, or a bump and it would flicker (the ebrake light) and then it finally went fully on. The ebrake also doesnt hold the car very well when pulled.

Hope this describes the problem well

Ok you need to bleed the brakes to se if maybe you got air into it.

The ebrake light....is prolly something underneath the handle like a touching wire or somethign like that so it grounds out and makes the light come on. get down and see what's going on underneath the handle.

The "brake" light should come on if there is a problem also, mainly low fluid. You may need a new master cylinder... Did it gradually get worse, or did it just all of the sudden go bad? Try going 40 or so (with no other cars around , and where there is enough room to coast to a stop), step on the brakes, then keep pumping them... What does it do?

Definitely bleed the brakes though. I had the idea that you already did that...

Or your M/C is gone. Found that out one day on a hill, need to have one set of brakes working.

Have you adjusted your ebrake?

Bleed brakes first. Go to Home Depot or something and get 2' of clear plastic tubing. Put the plastic tubing over the nipple for the brake line. When bleeding the brakes have a buddy press down on the brake pedal and look at the plastic hose which now should have brake fluid running through it. Check to see if there are bubbles in the fluid. If so then thats your problem. If not then my bet is on th master cylinder.
