Default Tyre Pressure

Can anyone tell me the correct tyre pressure (front and back) for a 4th
Generation Prelude 4WS 2.2 VTEC with 17in Rims with 205x40% profile tyres
as different mechanics keep telling different psi's! I know it is different
from recommended as the profile and wheel size has changed. Any ideas?
Brian

if your running a low profile tire you should always run a lot higher pressure, Im running 42-43lbs in my fronts and 38lbs in the rear (225x35-18). I have talked to a bunch of people about the suggested tire pressue and everyone has said to run higher pressure. I have Toyo Proxi tires and 3 of them have split on the inside side wall and running to low air pressure (32-35) is what caused it.

my max on my 215/40/17 is 50 which is what the tire place had it aired up to but i let it down to 40 all around. so i would go with 36-40 or maybe 42 but not any higher
