i got a 97 accord and the heater isn't working. if i turn it on air blows out but its not hot its just cold, i i don't know whats wrong with it, anyone know what it could be? or how to fix it? i have no mods in my engine yet

 

check your cable on your heater valve

 

The most common problem is the heater ****. They actually break and won't turn the control. Simple 6.00 fix. We sold 20 a day when the weather changes.

 

also save your receipt for the ****, honda has a 12 month warranty on those suckers. Well at least my dealership told me they do. I just make sure it breaks before the year is up... Amazing the same problem carries thru for so many years... but given the reliability of the car, I'll have the **** break from time to time.

 

A quick test would be to remove both fan speed and heater mode *****...
take the motor speed **** and install it on the heater mode pot and see if you crank the heat up...
