Default TwoTone?

Guys,
I bought a black JDM front end, rear spoiler, and rear bumper a while back, and had planned on prepping and painting it over the winter. Then my buddy had a suggestion. Don't paint it. Just put it on. I know you'd have to use your imagination a little bit, but what do you think?

here is the stock picture for comparison

-EDIT-
Look down for updated artist renditioning

Just my personal opinion, but CRX's (and maybe any Honda for that matter) don't look good two-tone. My car is two-tone now because of my WW kit, but I plan on having the car painted when the weather warms up again.

I would paint the car all one color

I think it depends on what color the car is to have two tone...I was gonna pick up a JDM front for my crx..and my cars white I was probly gonna leave it black or paint the whole car black, im not sure yet... they both look good

haha. It can't be that bad. I mean, I could always paint the fenders like I orignally planned if I don't like it.

Get it painted. The only time two tone looks good is after it has been professionally done and the lines have all been thought out and the color scheme has all been though out. Go ahead and rock it through the winter but be sure to get the shiz painted, dont go ghetto on the jdm front you have a good thing going.

Mine is white and blue, thanks to the dipshit I bought it from. The white's a little bit brighter than stock, and the blue is a decent dark blue metallic. The side trim and the rocker panel are unpainted. It's not horrible, imho, sometimes I think I almost like it. I'm gonna be getting the whole thing repainted in the spring, and I'm gonna have it repainted all white with the black trim. Sorry for the horrible pic.

Don't do it if your car's exterior is in GC already. You won't ever get around to painting it....I speak for myself.

I'm rocking two tone, but painting my front bumper myself with a rattle can once it stops raining. Not gonna bother with the hood since i'm gettin a cf one anyways.

that 2 tone does look good, i see your selling it on ebay though

as for the topic, it wont look right unless you paint it to match IMO

Cars that are painted like 87b16crx's are the only 2 tones that look good in my opinion. I love the look of them when painted like this. Otherwise, no just paint the entire CRX man.

So whatcha gonna do if you got a carbon hood 'n fenders? Ain't no way I'm gonna paint carbon..
Any ideas? Basically, it's the same problem..

Front bumper's gonna be painted black to match.. but I dunno 'bout the rest of the car.. thought 'bout paintin' half of the doors black as well, sorta make a fade-out from black to red.. I'm at a loss, tbh.

Got a photoshop I did, but not gonna pester you with that.. it'd only make your eyes bleed like ya had the Ebola virus, or sumat..

personaly i think that looks a bit off.........the black tops look good if theres something to "break" the two colours like a moulding or s curve in the car.....just my opinion tho.....still a sweet ride

i plan on running the black strip down the middle of the moldings but i havent decided yet. this is what my car looked like when it was black and i ran the red stripe down the middle. but i dotn want to jack your thread. maybe do the top and hatch black with a CF hood and tint the rear window. that will give it a good look.

I like the ATeam scheme. People seem to be really split on the two tone.
Some people love it; while others arn't feeling it - I can tell. I've showed about everyone I can.
