Replacing the driveaxle on 89 Accord?
Hi, I am going to replace the driver side driveaxle (bad CV-joint) on my girlfriend's 89 Accord. Can anyone give me any tips that might help me? According to the Haynes manual, lower arm-to-steering knuckle balljoint stud nut need to be removed in order to separate the lower arm from the steering knuckle. How do I remove this bolt? Any special tools required for this process?
Also, what do you recommend for the trans oil. I know that it takes regular engine oil but is there any special oil for this?
Any help is appreciated, RJ
