it will bolt up, BUT the front JDM bumper has a bigger curve in it, so it wont sit flush with the body.

Yes and yes, because the body lines are different. To use the '90-91 JDM CRX bumper, you must also use the hood and headlights.

Not sure if they are needed for an '88-89.

They are not necessary if you have a '90-91 car.

Depends on what bumper you get. If you get the JDM front end with the non wrap around corner lenses the fenders dont have to be changed on an 88-89. If you get the SiR bumper Im pretty sure that it will only work with USDM 90-91 fenders. I remember reading somewhere about this and was sure that for 88-89 you need to convert the fenders if you get the JDM front end with the wrap around bumper lights.

I know that the bumper lights themselves have nothing to do with the fenders, but the front end without the wrap around bumper lights is not the exact same as the one with them. Im just using them to make sure you know what front end I am talking about.

You might as well just get the whole package. The bumper doesnt really look right without the whole thing in my opinion. Besides the hood is functional if you swap a b series motor in there cause you will be able to get more clearance and the lights look way better than USDM ones anyway. About the fenders I'm pretty sure you have to change them out on the 88 and 89's. But good luck with it all.

fenders are interchangeable, the only difference in the USDM and the JDM fenders is the JDM fenders have the sidemarkers, u can find those on ebay for pretty cheap tho...also if u di decide to get just the front bumper u can find that for a couple hundred bucks on ebay too.

parts you need::
SiR front bumper
SiR headlights
SiR wrap around bumper lights
SiR hood ( or the VIS CF SiR hood )
SiR radiator support ( or you can shim out the USDM one )

You can use your stock fenders.
Im on the same boat, i have everything above but the bumper and so hard to find one by itself for sale.

Hope that helps.

you will have a 1-2inch gap next to the headlights and the bupmer sits farther out so you will have a gap in front too
