dam that is a little more than my estimate to crack it open and tell me whats wrong by most places. the dealership charges $500 just to drop it and another 500 to put it back in lol.

Try Agile Automotive also. http://www.agileauto.com. they rebuilt my friends for $1200. Call around though, because there are some places who will crack it open for free and give you a free estimate, BUT you have to drop it out yourself if you know how to do it.

yea man sorry I can't remember the name of the one place I called before. I just know i was in the yellow pages under transmissions calling around. I am 100% sure 1 or 2 of the shops told me that they would crack it open for free and tell me what was wrong and give me a estimate. The one shop I remembered told me that I was looking anywhere from 550 to 1200 if i dropped it out myself. I think the 1200 was a full rebuild.
