Quick OBD0 to OBD1 Conversion Question

Default Quick OBD0 to OBD1 Conversion Question

since i'm converting to obd1 and i'm using obd1 injectors.. do i need to solder the 5 wires that run to the resistor box together?

someone answer this question within the next 5-10mins please

I need to do this myself. I believe that 12V comes from the main relay(yel/blk), gets connected to the four (yel/blk) wires going to each injector. Then from there they go to pins a1 (brn),a2 (red),a3 (lt blu),a4 (yel) and are grounded at the ecu.

how are they grounded at the ecu? with another wire or its just the ecu itself.

I'm looking at a schematic for a 95 del sol right now. Looks like pins a12, a25, a26 and b9 are grounds. Check continuity from these pins to ground with an ohmmeter.

yes, you connect all the five wires together, the 4 go straight to the injectors and the one is a power source

the injectors have a constant power to them (the fifth wire) and the other wire on the injectors intermittently grounds to open the injectors, which is done by the ecu
