99 interlude
if i were you and i had about 3 k to spend i would do an LSD and flywheel and clutch job and maybe a 60 shot of nitrous you would be suprized on how well you car will hook up and move. Not as expensive but with your header intake and exhaust it will be sure to put you in the 200/220 hp range. And yes pay down the car no sence in dumping 10k in the car and the payments are over 500bucks a month.
Also the only reson i have yet to go turbo is i am not really satisfied with the results of the previous kits and the H22A. Im am interested in giving greddy my money since they have been doing this a while and they seem to be taking there time on this setup. And since the civic and teg kits seem to be a well put to gether system, i assume the prelude kit will be built of the same quality!!

That's funny, I know people with the Fmax and Drag kits that are completely satisfied.

Plus, when compared to Drag/Greddy kits on B18C1s, the Greddy kit doesn't make the HP that the Drag does.

Just a thought.

The problem with the turbo kits on an H22A is the overlap the cams have on the VTEC lobes. The only real remedy is a new set of (more than likely) custom ground turbo cams.

when you say custom ... so in another words another set of cams wouldn't cover for this problem.

If you want to go turbo then you really shouldn't have ordered a cold air intake and header since it will be useless when you put a turbo kit in.

I was going to point that out, but since he's not doing turbo for a while, I let it slide.

Also, Crower makes good cams, I just like a setup thats more specified to my application.

Yeah I wasn't sure when he was planning on going turbo, thought about letting it slide

Crower also has a Stage 2 "turbo" profile cam set for the H22A now I believe. I think it still has high lift but with less duration....i'd be interested to see how it affects the JRSC and a turbo'd H22A...it could possibily work really well.
