Quick Oil Question

What would happen if I put too much oil into my car? I accidentally went a few mm over the second dot. I also did this without warming up the engine first. Is it going to harm the motor when I start it?

A few mm's would be about a 1/8~1/4 quart. Honestly I wouldint worry about it.

I dont know about you- but mine will leak that in a few weeks- so I wouldn't even worry about it!
