Default Best mods for hp on a LS swap

ok i have a 93 hatch with a LS swap with only I/H/E , and eventually i plan on turbo, but for now i dont really have the money , what are some good mods for now to help boost up my hp? Like how much do manifolds like skunk2 really help on adding hp and what about stage 1 cams?

yeah any money that you want to put into boltons just set aside in an envelope until it is enough to get a turbo setup. or even better everytime you have some extra cash buy a piece of a turbo setup and eventually piece together a custom kit.

You will actually lose HP if you put a Skunk2 manifold on without bigger camshafts or a turbo. Like these guys said, just save for the turbo if that is your ultimate goal.

sounds good thanks for the responses.....and about the cams, you think it would be better to get CTR cams instead of say crower or some other name brand stage 1 cams?

stay non vtec and get some crower 402's. should give you a few hp and a nicer powerband, and they will work to help you get more hp per psi when you evenutally boost.
