Default ACCORD FUEL PUMP VS. PRELUDE FUEL PUMP

Hello all, I just put an H22 in my 97 LX. If the car idles for awhile, the check engine light comes on. I checked it and it came up as fuel systems. A few people told me that the stock accord pump can't handle the lude motor. Any suggestions as to what I could do?

dont waste your money on a fuel pump unless your accord one is for sure going bad. the accord pump flows enough fuel to get you 250 wheel horsepower at stock pressure.

was the code you came up with code 43?
if so check to see if your plugs are showing too lean or too rich. usually i find it is the o2 sensor or an injector, though it COULD be a pump. i can tell you my stock accord pump held up fine to an h22a AND a 60 wet shot of nitrous for a year or two.
