so i wake up to my mom screaming that my car wont start im like well **** its only damn 6 degrees out...so i take it to a battery shop and get it fixed because the connector was loose but the emergency brake is iced up and frozen is what im expecting the problem for why it wont lock...what do you guys think the problem is and what can i do if that is the problem?

yes the lever will not lock in place to hold the car...as of right now i have it in the garage unthawing from the cold morning to see if it might lock before i go to work...

 

Sounds like the cable snapped. Does it just pull up, and does it pull up very easily.

 

yeah they actual lever just pulls up and does not lock...

 

Either your cable snapped or it came off the brake shoes, I'll put my money on it breaking.
