Default Circuit Project

Ok this sucks because if i post it in the lounge more people will see it but then theyll send me here but anyway.

Down here Circuit is very popular, we have a Circuit CRX the class is called PM1 which is modifired production 1 in spanish, our track times are about 133.3 or so (youll be able to see our track when grand am comes down here next year in March I'll give yall a heads up).

Anyway heres whats happening,

THe CRX parts are getting hard to come by, so were going to build a circuit hatch in the states then import it as a body and then the engine seperately if we get an engine at all, this is where you guys come in, first i need a hatch thats wrecked or crashed with no frame damaged but im leaving the hatch for last because we need to see how much we invest in parts before we actually do anything. So I need to get an estimate on what we'll invest:

We need a suspension with coilovers were probably going tein or Tokico

We need gauges defi are sorta expesnive so we need an autometer tach, water temp, oil temp, oil press., and a pyromter

We need Sway bars front and rear

We need lightweight racing wheels, we want something that costs less than 1g with tires so nothing over the top, I was thinking rotas but i dunno how much they cost

For the engine all we would really need would be adjustable cam gears.

For the interior we would need a good steering wheel and a good but inexpensive buckt seat but the type that wont recline.

And then we need an estimate on a roll cage.

Also itd be great to find a place that sells used race cars or something but it has to be honda's.

Also any little circuit car accesories like har nesses and that stuff and the switches to turn on the ignition and all that.

CRX parts are hard to come by? Where are you (user info says NY, NY, but I'm guessing you're in PR now)?

Anyways, CRX parts are all over the place stateside, so I'm not sure why you would feel the need to change chassis if you already have a CRX prepped?

Im in the dominican republic im from NY NY, but its a circuit car and gets hit often we spent like 2 weeks to track down a fender and ship it in from over there and EG parts are easier to get here.

I race a CRX in Time Trials in Puerto Rico. You can always take the ferry over here. I dont know if there's as many parts as in NY but I guarantee you that the trip is a lot cheaper and that CRX parts ARE available. We have a pretty big Honda scene over here.

look dumbass. Maybe you should tell me exactly where you said EG hatchback. all your post said was hatchback. everyone assumed since you said crx, they figure EF hatch. with as few posts as you have you might want to keep the saftey on the gun before you shoot yourself in the foot again!!!

Have a nice day

Even if i meant EF hatch why would they link to CRX's? Its obvious i dont want a CRX if i said parts are hard to come by atm, i apologize i didnt mean to pick a grudge but sometimes i just get pissed off when i think someones trying to make me look like an *** when i make a mistake, I didnt mean to offend you so ill say sorry. But do you think you can help me finding an EG or EK hatch? Thanks in advance.

I already apologized what was the need for your post and when he quoted me he specifically left out the word hatch i mean if i dont want a crx and i say hatch then its obvious you shouldnt link to CRX's even if they were ef civic hatches i wouldnt have cared but dont tell me i asked for CRX's when its obvious i didnt.
