vafc2 for b18c1 wiring help (VTM and VTC cam signal)
According to the VAFC-2 manual and wiring diagram:
i followed up with every steps according to manual and wiring diag. I got everythign in except BLUE wire (VTM signal) and LIGHT BLUE wire (VTC cam signal.
Right right there i got confused why and where and how to get those wires connected to my ECU, then i look over the wiring diagrams for other cars (like RSX, nissan, Accord etc). I noticed that only some car names such as CR-V, Stream, Odyssey, Lagreat, and Avancier have VTC cam signal and VTM signal wires hooked up to their ECU....but not in Honda civic, integ, accord,
anyway, my question is, does this mean my GS-b18c1 does not need to get VTC cam signal and VTM signal hooked up to the ECU?

I ran into a similar problem. According to the manual I hooked up all the ness. wiring but when hitting vtec, the change engine light came on and would no longer hit vtec without making a horrible sound. Seems that I did not hook up the wire that connects to the #10 pinout for the oil signal. So the VAFC2 didn't read oil pressure hence, triggered the light on. Its the one wire that the manual does not say to hook up. If you look at the connectors in the directions that they are going into the ECU... its in the upper right hand corner. If you look in the manual, page 15 and hook it up according to H6-a the VTM wire goes to the pin out thats at the upper right corner. Same plug that has the pressure sig. wire hooked to it. I beleive its the c-10 pin out. Good luck. PM me if you want more details.
aight guys...thanx for the helping...i actually pinouts my own ecu by pin by one and got everything in....so later if i get Hondata it will be easier for me...
thanx again
