Default Help:BRAKE light is on

if you guys could please help me......my brake light is on......has this ever happened to anyone....if so what is the prob?thanx for the help in advance

when i put my e-brake down....the light still stays on...plz help

check all ur bulbs....u probably put in a 1158 instead of a 1157 in ur brake lights

Like they said, check the brake fluid level and make sure your bulbs work. If it's still f'd up, we'll look at it at the dyno day if you come.

I think he's talking about the BRAKE light that comes on when you pull up the parking brake. Maybe the trigger that the parking brake activates is stuck? take your center console off (very easy, just 4 screws on the side) and see if there's anything uncool in there). Here's a stupid question...is that the same light that comes on if there's a brake problem?

I had this problem - my e-brake light came on while I was on track! scary ****...turned out the cover to my brake fluid reservoir wasnt on tight enough. I tightened it, and it went off.

Yes, same light. Indicates a bad bulb, low fluid, etc.

yea its the BRAKE light that goes off when you put the e-brake down....whats weird is that ill be driving and the light will be on and then after a couple of minutes it goes off

it's either the brake fluid level or loose cap, as mentioned above.
