H22

Boosting a car over 100,000 miles=bad idea

I never recommend boosting a higher miliage motor. Going with the H22 makes more since. If you absolutly want to use you current engine, have it checked first by a good shop. Some test I would do are: pressure, leak down, compression, and a few others.

meh, milage means bollocks. Its all down to the actual condition of the engine regardless of how many miles it has.

I boosted mine at 218,000km, which is roughly 138k miles. I've just past 6 months and 10,000km without issue at 10psi.

um i boosted at 100k, just make sure compression is good, belts are tight, and valves are adjusted to spec. should be good to go. bah h22...pssh....bah....pffft...gay
all these people saying boosting high mileage is a bad idea are clueless. just do the few things i mentioned up top and if everything checks out boost away.
poid hit it right on the head!

but hondaracin24's post is complete heresay and if he is afraid to boost a solid motor with 100+k if he has one ill gladly take it from him the minute he gets his H in.
edit, just outta curiosity, where in nh you at man?

I have a 94 accord ex with 136000miles on it. I put a turbo on about 10000miles ago. on stock motor and 5 psi. it runs strong still. I would go turbo because you would be faster than a H22.
