i got a 89 zc dohc engine and a l3 1020427 tranny what clutch do i need to bolt the tranny onto the engine, i called summit they told me to count the teeth and measure the width on the tranny shaft, i would check but the zc is bolted onto a blown hf tranny, and i dont have the l3 on me right now....

do you know what year L3 tranny it is? if not your gonna have to count the teeth.

 

count the teeth, 21 teeth is 88, 20 is 89 and up.

ok i just counted its 21 so thats a 88? what type of clutch would i need?
