i am having trouble identifying the hasport mounts. see i got a 92 civic with the b16 in it and it was never finished. the person got the hasport mounts and used the rear one, and a differant mount that he welded and maybe cut too to make it work for that car. how can i identify the mounts. i do have one that has 3 wholes for bolts in a triangle shape, and the rear one i can't see yet, and the one that is welded i'm not sure . help me please.

 

i'm confused by your post, are you saying you have a 92 civic with a b16 and HASport mounts and wondering about putting it in a 89CRX?

Because if so those mounts will not work in the CRX. The engine bay is much much different from the 92's. Also you will not be able to use the hydrolic tranny from the 92 unless you get the hyndro conversion kit from HASport.

As for identification, the mounts for a 92 Civic B-Series application is EGB1. You will need the EFB2 system from them ($500 with hydro tranny). Either that or the EFB1 from them, but then you'd need to get a cable transmission.

 

the person only used 2 of the mounts, one he used he welded and possibley cut the hasport mount to the pass. tranny mount. the other i didn't look at it closely but it is the rear tranny mount. the other mount he didn't use and it is the one that has 3 holes in a tringlular shape. i need to know what i need to do , if they will work or if i need to make or get new mounts. also i have they cable tranny, and from what my friend said when he reserched this he told me that this b16 swap is soppose to be the best swap for the crx.
