Default d16z6 with p06 ecu- mpg?

i recently purchased a 95 honda civic ex as a beater car from chet on this board and i must say its totally diffrent than driving my integra. the car came with a p06 ecu and its good on gas but i feel it can be better. i get around 240 city driving, does that sound about right? would i feel a big difference in power and get better mpg if i switch over to a p28? thanks in advance

What are you using for VTEC control? Is the engine in need of a basic tune-up?
