I was wondering what an aluminum wing would look like on a 3g teg. I already tried the cosmetic forum, but no one posted any pics. I decided to post it here cause this is where all the Teg owners are, so I thought someone with a pic of one might post it. Thanks for any pics you may have!

 

no offense but i think it would RUIN the teg.. those wings just look ugly on any car.. RICE!!!

 

Im not saying Im forsure going to get one, I just want to see what they look like, Im giving them a chance. I think the right one would look really good. Theres a civic in my area with one that looks pretty good. I just want my Teg to look differnt then all the others in my area. So does anyone have any pics?

 

I was just looking through an old Superstreet and came accross a spoiler I like. Its the same shape of an aluminum wing, but a little different, and painted the same color as the car. You will know what I mean if you look in the March 2001 issue on page 208. Its the issue with the Hotwheels Civic on the cover. The wing is on the lower right hand corner on a white 3rd Gen. Integra with a prelude tail light conversion. Does anyone know who makes that wing, and where I can get it? Oh, how hard is the prelude tailing coversion, it looks pretty clean.

If any Mod has taken any offence in this post being that is is mostley cosmetic, feel free to move it.

hey if thats your style and thats what you like then kewl i guess.. im just saying i wouldnt put it on my car personally and i think it would ruin my car.. i am going for more of a stock look.. all that is visible is front mount intercooler, rims/tires, that its lowered.. if you look closer you see the yellow konis.. and if you look down low you'll see the lower tie bar... and greddy exhaust.. my spoiler and body kits, and side are all stock.. but if thats your style and you wanna put on an aluminum wing kewl.. i live in cali and see that everyday..

Prelude conversion Prelude lights look GOOD on Preludes. As for the wing stay with the factory wing or SpoilerLess, hey but its your car just giving my opinion.

Exactlly! Since I bought my car, I have planned on keeping my Teg stock, But recentley I have changed my mind. I want to stick out a little, Im sick of the stock look. I want it to look a little sportier.

This is what I have planed:

Carbon Fiber hood
Tsunami front lip
Wings West sides
Wings West rear
probably an alumium wing with the center peice painted the same color as my car.
16" Rota slipstreams in gun metal

I think this would look clean and good! Theres like 5 or 6 Tegs in my very small town of 10,000 who are all stock on the outside, I just want to be a little differnt. I will also have the performance to back it up. Im not planning on doing any of this till Im done with my turbo and motor, their on the top of my cars priority list right now.

 

Point being? I never said I wanted ITR wheels, or ones the resembled them. I have just been planning on the Gunmetals, or maybe the silver.

I, myself, dislike aluminum wings.....especially the HUGE GAY fast and faggish wings.

But..some alum. wings or carbon fiber "gt" wings are sort of tasteful.

But...I'm not here to defend the way they look.

Somebody said that wings are pointless on FF cars - riiiiiight.

Notice the picture of the C-Westin Integra Type-R. The N1 endurance car with a somewhat large carbon fiber wing...i don't think a company as respectable as C-west would just do it for looks - plus it's a race car...
