I am looking for a new gauge Cluster for my 1990 Civic DX. i want to put in a cluster with a tach in it. i wanted to know what is the best cluster that will fit in with the most easy.
Thanks

90-91 crx or civic si cluster should be an automatic swap. Some DXs have the wire/plug right behind the cluster if some case it was swapped out. If not ur going to either have to run a line from the ECU or Distributor to that cluster or aftermarket tach.
if you use GSR i think you need to get a VSS and change wiring.

just find an 90-91 cluster with a tach, it will plug right in. i have an 88-89 for sale, but you would have to re-pin the plugs which is kind of a bitch for a downgrade cluster.

yes, that is correct, this is the cluster i swapped out my stock one for...i still havent gotten vss hooked up, havent had time to do it...it was fairly easy to redo wiring, just time consuming
