loosing juice
title perhaps a little vague but can somebody point me in the right direction as to what to look at as far as the bike is not charging the battery and drains quite fast.
it seems to charge a little with the headlight fuse pulled but will not charge the battery other than that.
basically can anyone knowlageable help me out in what to check/replace and where it is located on the bike, i've got alot of experience on cars and not much on working on bikes but i want to learn. the bike is a 94 f2 with a 98 f3 motor on it (if that makes a difference)

Sounds like a rectifier problem. Had the same problem on my VFR. You're going to have to replace your battery too

some research and looks like you guys are on top of things great. where can u pick up a rectifyer. auto parts or dealer or whats easiest

I've heard of some people swapping rectifiers from other models for the same desired effect as an aftermarket one. My dealer suggested an aftermarket one (I'm not sure who the manufacturer is) because it was cheaper and supposedly beefier than the stock unit. He had me at cheaper.
