Some questions with tuning zdyne
I am trying to help my friend tune his car. He has zdyne.
So far what I can see is that you can not follow ECU like you can on AEM and you can not highlight multiple cells and change the values
My questions are this. When I change a value in a cell does that automatically change on the ecu? Or do I have to hit upload every time I make a change?
Also is there a way to change multiple cells at once?
Can I use the + and - buttons like on the AEM to add or subtract fuel? I tried and it did not do anything but figured I would ask.
Also is there any way to mess with the idle like on the aem?
That is all the questions I can think of so far. Anyone that knows how to use this system please chime in. Thanks

You need to hook the computer/laptop up to the ecu & upload something to it. Once it does this it will initialize itself with the ecu and any additional features you paid for will become available.
Good luck

We tried that but some the vtec is still greyed out. The guy he bought it from said that was enabled.

In that case I'd call up Zdyne, read them the numbers from on the ECU and see if they can tell you exactly what features that particular ecu has installed. Worse case they havn't been, maybe they'd be willing to "upgrade" those for you for a few bucks.
