ok i have a 90 crx with a b16 in it. my battery sux i think cuz at night when i turn my headlights on and hit the brakes the cd player stops. but my car idles bad. like rough. it jumps up and down then dies, but not allt he time. yesterday i started driving it and it wouldnt rev past 3kish(my tach wasnt working). then if i gave iot gas it would start jerking all around. it had no power. but i made it around the block and turned around back to my house. it couldnt make it up the driveway. well now the car wont start. what could it be?

Start with all your power grounds then alternator. When is the last time you changed your fuel filter? Maybe a clogged injector for the dying problem.

 

not rev past 3k - ignitor, or CYL sensor
jerking - ignitor

 

It's your igniter. My car acted that same way before my mine took a dump. (OBD-nothing B16 CRX)

 

ok found out the place that changed my axels took my car for a test drive and it skipped to teeth on the intake side. they set it back and that is when it started. could i have bent a vlalve or sumthin?
