Default LSD for EG decision

The turbo D16 looks like a great alternative to B-series swaps until you start thinking about adding a LSD. My tranny has 90k miles on it. The tranny performs nicely except shifting into 4th from a high rpm, it is the original clutch but I'm guessing it is the synchro causing the hard shift into 4th. I guess my question is it worth it to replace forks&synchros and add a LSD to this tranny or would I be better off paying +400 and starting with a 96+ tranny. Eventially I plan on a turbo with around 200hp.

Default Re: LSD for EG decision (kysard)

I have sitting in my garage a rebuilt 94 dx tranny for my turbo D16 that is going together here shortly....and it has the Phantom Grip "LSD" in it. Now my buddy used it and it was great for the initial hook up and even around corners. I have heard people say that it breaks and other things of that nature but my friend has had no problems with his.....
