Default Just found some useless info, DONT FOLLOW "MUST SEE"

Ok i was looking around and came across this
http://www.team-integra.net/se...D=732
it shows you how to rewire your hood release so people cant get in easy from outside.

now i know how to still get in and this info doesnt do anything. Look at how they do it. and it doesnt solve anything. To open the hood relese, all you have to do is stick your hand up the front grill and find the release wire, and pull it. thats all you have to do, and it takes two senconds, so please dont listen the that thread.

What? Link doesn't work, your english sucks, and this has already been covered in previous threads.

Answer to all your problems

Here's a link to the article you're referring to: Hood latch relocation

This is quite effective, maybe you should read the entire article. Many people have done this successfully.

It's called layers. The more the better. It's common for recovered Integras to have the wheel wells cut out for access. If it's not there they wasted time and they've been slowed down. The longer it takes the better. If you don't think every layer helps you're an being dumb.

I have razor blades underneath my front bumper near the area of the hood release cable (which has been re-routed). I also have a hood sensor on my alarm and modified battery terminals and secondary battery power source along with countless other security mods.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I will give it a try when my car is out of storage.

why is that a bad idea? just as long as a lot of people dont see you opening your hood like that then it's fine... i have a sensor on my hood to that will go off when its opened. when someone breaks in and tries to pull the hood latch they will most likey just leave because they are in a hurry and assume the latch is just broken..

The hood still works the same way.

The DIY just pushes the cable out of the way and attaches in inside of the engine bay so that you can't reach it from the wheel well. No wires are permanently disconnected or anything.

IQ > you

I don't know about you but it would be a lot harder going through the grill than just ripping out some plastic.

Man, some crazy stuff about the razors in the bumpers. May I have a little more information about the "modified battery terminals?

I don't want to say too much since thieves read this message board. Basically, positive & negative are reversed and there is a metal bracket around the terminal that can't be taken off without hex tools. There is a way for thieves to disconnect a stock battery without popping the hood (yes, that is pretty scary to know). That's why I had to modify it.

Hmm....definately interesting. And yes, that is scary. I don't know how it would be done, but man, if these thieves put their effort into something good, think of all the good thing that can be achieved. Haha. So much ingenuity for crime.

YOU ARE useless dude...they did not stated that the rewiring the hood cable WILL stop theft from getting into ur car. They said "it would reduced the chance"

by the way if you actually do that ****....you will come up with solution that people can't put their hand from the front bumper to pull the hood's cable....there is a way that u can't pull from front...so stfu about useless or not

they give u the idea and solution u must do it urself and do it better...better than sitting ur *** on ur chair and talking ****...i think u just give out the infomation of how to pull the cable for more people to know and so more car will get stolen...

at least they tried....

I'm sure he now realizes that he made a mistake by posting what he did. Don't be so hard on the guy.
