A friend of mine just pulled his 00 B16 out of his SI, He said he will sell me the complete longblock minus the ECU and Tranny for 1grand, and the motor has 22k miles on it..I have a 95 DX with a D15b7..what all would I need to complete this project besides the complete longblock, I'm not sure how the OBD setups work, what I have, what the B16 is, and what I would need to switch to and from, all new to me...Thanks for your help in the matter.

I did search, and I can't find specifics on putting the newer B16 in..either way, I appologize, I just need some help before I make this purchase

 

well to start you need the ecu, and an si tranny, wiring harness etc. SEARCH, theres so many of these questions on ht.

 

you will need obd1 b16 ecu from delsol b16
you will need tranny b series 94-00 integra, 99-00 si, 94-97 delsol b series or jdm 2nd gen b16,gsr, itr, etc
you will need 94-00 integra mounts
shift linkage
axles
halfshaft
wiring harness
depending on which harness you use you will need alt, dist, injectors

 

$1000 for just long block is too much!!!

 

b16a2 is ob2 is it not so you would need obd 2 ecu and an obd 1 to 2 conversion harness. 1000 bucks is way too much for a longblock.

 

whoa 1000 for a long block i say keep looking
