accord 01 brake warning light pops on . When it is cold outside
I have an 01 accord v6 coupe with 104000 miles on it ..lately The brake warning light is on when I either first start the car or when I am braking it disappears after a couple of hours and alot of driving.. Last time this happen the dealer replaced the sensor. is it the same thing again the canister is full of fulid and i don't notice any leaks and the brakes work fine
Take the cap off the brake fluid resevoir... you should see two electrical connections. Clean off those connections and you should be fine. I did this for my friend's Accord, and she hasn't had that problem since.
Check the Brake Fluid level the reason it happens cold is because fluid contracts when cold, remember basic science class in grade school?
If you are low on fluid it could be because the front brake pads are worn out, the front calipers you a large volume of fluid. Also look at the brake booster under the master cylinder, if the master is leaking it will show at that place.

He already said that the brake fluid level was fine. It's not going to drop from the full mark all the way down to the low mark just because it's cold. And frankly, I've already dealt with this exact problem. There's no need to be condescending.
Again, just clean off those 2 connections thoroughly and you shouldn't have this problem again.
