basically i have a crx si with a b18b1 in it with a 90-93 teg LS cable tranny. bascially i am gettin a U.S. Spec b16a2. will my ls cable tranny work with it until i get my b16 cable tranny? i thought it would but my friend said it wouldnt so i thought id ask the experts. and i kno i need an ecu and dizzy as well but im worried about the tranny for right now.

 

The transmission will work. But the gearing will suck. Also, depending on whether the transmission is 1990-1991 or 1992-1993, you may need a new clutch disk.

 

It will work I have that set up right now I us a flywheel from a 95 delsol dohc vtec and a clutch kit from a 95 del-sol Dohc vtec if you us the ls clutch it will work as well but it will not hold up if you plan on racing it.

all b series trannys are compatable. it just depends on cable or hydro if you need a conversion kit. ls trannys suck *** in gearing. only thing they got is a ong 5th gear. go with b16 tranny with lsd
