changing timing belt for a friend.. should i replace seals too?
My honda friend told me to replace his front balance seal and rear reduction gear seal, cam seal and crankshaft seal. Do I have to replace those seals? do you guys usually replace those seals when changing a timing belt? I'm asking because i've dont quite a bit of timing belt changes and never have i replaced n e of those seals for n e of my friends and none of them have had n e trouble.... So what do you guys do? thanks

That is the most retarded thing I've ever heard. Espeically when it comes to cars.
Unless they look worn I wouldn't go replacing them. It was never part of any timing belt job I did. But don't take the if it's not broken don't take it attitude. That's just asking for trouble.
