Nice, i know wher eim buying my jacket from.

On a side note, how much slack do you guys have on your jackets, in case you wanna wear a sweater underneath or something? Like for example, my chest is a 42 should i get a 44 or 45?

i went one size bigger for the winter so i can fit a sweatshirt or heavy sweater under my jacket for winter but i will go one smaller come spring.

If it's so cold that I would need another layer, I usually wear my sweater over my leather jacket.

You don't want too much slack on your jacket, because if you fall, the leather and armor will move around and bunch up.

Marmaladeboy is right. You should always where a proper fit jacket and maybe add a layer on top.

I bought a size 54 (44US) and it was kinda loose around my chest. So I returned it and got a 42US. I'm so glad that I did because now I'm used to the tighter fit and plus I would've been stuck with a too big $750 jacket.

Just where a big windbreaker or pullover. Works great!

I bought my Dainese Bora from http://www.cyclegear.com (actually at one of their stores). They usually don't stock them so I had it transfered. That was the one that was too big. I returned it a week later and they were totally cool with transfering me a smaller size and exchanging it. Great service.

The problem with Dainese stuff is there's not many places in the US to buy them so the prices are pretty much, what you see is what you get. At Cycle Gear, the jacket was $50 less than retail ($800).

I live about 15 miles from the D-Store in Costa Mesa, California and checked it out on Sunday. Nice. Felt ghetto riding up in my Yamaha. Felt like I needed a Ducati or MV or something. It was nice to see pics of their rider on a Yam tho. They had Biaggi's yellow Camel suit on display with scrub marks on it and stuff. Really cool.

If you're into blue jackets, I saw a Bora in blue with a yellow stripe down the arms with the number 46 on the speed hump. Rossi style. Not really my thing but it something I never saw on the net. As a matter of fact, there was a lot of stuff at the store that I never saw on the net.

scareyh22a, did you get the jacket from the laguna hills cycle gear? mach 1 in newport also has excellent service.
where's the dainese store located? i've been wanting to check it out. i was at the international motorcycle show a couple weeks ago and found a dainese jacket at the bert's mega mall area and it was going for 300 bucks, but i didn't have the funds on me... i'm wondering if the dainese store has any "clearance" sales or anything hopefully they'll have this jacket that i wanted, supposedly it retails for 600, but was on sale at the show for 300.

I bought my jacket from the Fullerton Cycle Gear.

The D-Store - go south on the 55 'til it ends near Triangle Square. Go down about 1/4 mile and on 17th make a right. Then a left on Superior. Go south about another 1/4 mile and its on your right in the same building as the car wash.
