Running 370cc inj. with pump gas at 13.6:1?????
I am in the process to start my jump from street car to full race car. My CR is looking to be 13.6:1. I am going invest in RC 370cc injectors and try to tune out detonation with 93 octane. I have 404 cams so I will bleed a certain bit of the compression away right.
Any advise would help!!

I dont know if u still get knock on 93 octane or not if u retarded the timing signficantly.
Either way if u wanna run 93 you might need to induce some more overlap and pull alot of timing, you could prolly just make the same power with a lil less comp and less overlap on the 404's and more timing.
Why are u limited to 93 octane if its a full race car? If u could splash in a some 110 u would have no worries

A 13.6:1 CR motor with 404's is undercammed. If it's full race, run bigger cams if you have the clearance.

Let's put it this way, I want it as close to a full drag car as I can but still streetable.

I would like to be able to use pump gas so I never have to rely on race gas. Also 93 here is $2.14 a gallon and 114 is about $4.00.

I think 405a's work prime with 12:1 or a little higher CR so you could do that and It would bleed enough CR that you could run it no problem on pumpgas even 91. Tuned right of course.
